The Bumble Bee Studio is headed to Williamsburg, Virginia tomorrow for her FIRST ever trade show:  The 5th Annual Mid Atlantic Innkeepers Conference.

And, on that note....I am very excited to announce that the BEE has been accepted as one of the vendors with Select Registry~~~!  Select Registry is a collection of North America's finest, most distinctive inns.  Member properties must pass rigorous, on-going quality inspections to gain admission to this unique portfolio.  Their mission is to "promote and elevate niche, specialty accommodations into a universal, recurring pursuit".  Representing nearly 400 of the "finest country inns, B&Bs, and unique small hotels.....the very best the travel industry has to offer".  With luck, soon you will be able to find my very own handcrafted luxuries throughout North America in some, hopefully several, of these amazing establishments.  Buzzzz.

Thank you to Donna Ryan for the kind words for my BEE a MAN line in this lovely blog post today: 

My next little nugget of love for the man in your life, like the first gift, is really a gift for you, the one that loves him.  My husband grew up in an itty-bitty town in New Mexico with some amazing people that have gone on to do some pretty great things.  One of them is a woman now living in Virginia running a company by the name of The Bumble Bee Studio.  David saw her company on Facebook and was intrigued.  She has lots of really cool products, but the one he was interested in was the "Doggy Spray" to make Annie not smell so "doggy" and Julie threw in some samples for David to try out.  I'm speechless! The two items we are both loving are the Bee a MAN - Men's Herbal Shave Soap and the The MAN Bar - Shampoo and Body Bar.  Apparently, there is also a Bee a MAN - After-Shave Balm.

I have to say, years ago I found an aftershave called "Cowboy" that David and I both love, but it doesn't stay with him all day.  The MAN Bar does and the scent is similar.  It smells amazing!  (Scentsy needs to copy this one for a man's car freshener!)   It's pricey, but worth every penny if you care about how your man smells.  David is so crazy about it, he ordered it for his dad and I insisted that he order it for my uncle too.  The packaging is lovely, to boot.

Really, your man will love, love, love his Father's Day gifts this year.  Even better, so will you.

Anyways, that's only the beginning. I've used salt scrubs before only to find my skin irritated. This scrub not only exfoliated but left my skin feeling soft and unmarked. I felt its magical ingredients working as I was scrubing away. Its made from dead sea salts, which is known for its detoxifying effects. It is also enriched with eucalyptus and lavendar oils. And the smell of the scrub is to die for! It smells sooo refreshing and totally humbles the senses and mind. I really love this salt scrub!


I love this salt scrub!  I used it on my feet and I could tell a difference after the first use.  The more I used it, the better my feet looked and felt.  They felt moisturized without the oily effects like other products have.  The scent was very calming and relaxing.  I was also very impressed with the packaging of the salt scrub.  It looked beautiful in the glass container.  The little scoop was a cute touch, as well. "I love it!!! Well, back up, first I LOVE THE PACKAGING, excellent job with the paper packaging.....

I was concerned at first, keep reading, because I'm allergic to floral scents. I can no longer go to easter mass because everyone cakes on perfume and I pass out, so i go to easter eve mass. My dad and sister are worse, but all my scents are "food" scents, basil, herb, lime, sugar cookie, vanilla, etc... So at first i just put it on neck to see if i had reaction and I did not and slowly moved up to face. And this weather has been true test because its a stinking 100 degrees out and my face does not feel greasy, it feels dewy and soft so I love it... 
My sister would probably love it in a non-scented one if you have one.
